Adrenalin Winner Interviews

Sarah Teagle and Daisy Taste
Atlanta, GA
Adrenalin Award winner for Favorite Website

MBR: How long has Roll With It Productions (RWIP) been in existence?
RWIP: Roll With It has been around for the past four years but Daisy and I have been working together for two.

MBR: Where did the name of your club/organization come from?
RWIP: It came about as a result of a challenge from a coordinator.

MBR: Where are you originally from?
RWIP: I (Sarah) am from Virginia, Daisy, North Carolina and Tony is from Georgia. We all met at the rink.

MBR: What made you decide to join a skating club/organization?
RWIP: We wanted to join with skate enthusiasts interested in bringing the best skaters together from across the nation.

MBR: You have several things going on with RWIP, skating, event hosting and vending to name a few and of course you have your own Website. How did you get into the business of vending? What inspired you?
RWIP: We just did. We wanted to sell t-shirts to let those who used to skate know that it is still alive and kicking and to encourage those who did not make the party want to come next year and make at least one of the nationals.

MBR: We all have reasons why we skate. Why do you skate? What motivates you to skate?
RWIP: It's a healthy stress reliever.

MBR: When you first heard of the Adrenalin Awards, what were your thoughts? How did you feel about it?
RWIP: We thought it was a great idea; but we were disappointed since I specifically asked not to be included. I still feel the same now that it has come and gone.

MBR: How did you feel when you won?
RWIP: I was excited for my Webmaster. It's a good marketing tool for RWIP as well.

MBR: Have you won any trophies in skating competitions? If so, is the Adrenalin Award any different from the others that you have won?
RWIP: Yes I have but I don't feel it is any different from the others.

MBR: What do you think the Adrenalin Awards means to the roller skating community?
RWIP: I think it's a good thing. I think it will keep everybody on their P's and Q's and make them want to do better and try to win. Just please don't make it political.
