ABOUT THE ROLLING 20’s:
The Rolling 20’s Skate & Social Club is a non-profit organization based out of “World on Wheels Skating Rink” in Los Angeles, California, to which the organization was established in 1982. We have maintained a count of twenty regular members that have met all requirements and for those that want to join but can’t meet all of the membership requirements we have developed an “Associate Membership” until they can meet full requirements.

The members of the Rolling 20’s partake in teaching skate lessons for all ages and floor guarding on Saturdays. For the most part our style of skating is freestyle and dancing on quads with some blended routines. We roll every Tuesday and Thursday at our home rink and plan skate trips once a month to other rinks such as Cerritos, Glendale, Chino and San Bernadino. In addition, when there are skate jams or events held outside of our local area or out of state we also plan for those events such as “Atlanta Skate Jam, Milpitas, etc…”

We are a fun high-energy skate and social club. Our skate gear and colors (uniforms) differentiates according to the holidays or our trip plans. During the holiday events that Rolling 20’s acknowledge we celebrate it with gifts and gift basket give-a-ways, raffles, auctions bake sales, etc…So, if you are in the area and would like to see what the Rolling 20’s are all about we extend a joyful fun time out to you!

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
Is to come together as a fun loving organization and provide services and activities for members, and to foster skating among persons of all ages.

About Membership:
Becoming a Rolling 20’s member requires committed obligations to which some may not be able to meet. Therefore we have developed two classes of membership in this Organization: Regular membership and Associate membership.

All members must be intermediate roller skaters
All members will be required to learn skate routines
Members may not be affiliated with any other skate club while being a member of the Rolling 20’s
Each member is expected and encouraged to assist the management in maintaining a clean and safe skating environment
All members will pay dues, fines and penalties according to the by-laws

Associate Membership:

Completed Application
Monthly dues
Weekly skating (Tues and/or Thursday)
Purchase all required uniforms
Help out in anyway and/or volunteer
Be present for and participate in- A) Club Activities. B) Club Outings

Board of Directors:
The Organization shall be governed by the Board of Directors, which shall be composed of eleven (11) regular members occupying the following positions:
